Getting Started with Daily AI Milestones

Manage your contacts and transactions seamlessly by configuring pre-built and custom milestones for your teams.

At Daily AI, we understand that contacts and their associated transactions (loans) are the heart of your business. Instead of spending your time manually following up with potential leads or sending status updates to those already in your LOS system, the Daily AI CRM can be configured to automate this entirely for you — by sending emails, texts, voicemail drops, and multimedia messages all from one platform.

The best part? All of this configuration, including integrating milestones with your preferred LOS of choice, can be done without the need of an engineer or CRM developer. 

Read through this guide to get a high-level overview of our Milestones functionality and how you can use it to help grow your business and streamline operations in a single offering.

Our CRM separates milestones associated with contacts and transactions (loans) into two different buckets: prospect and in-process.

Note: Individual user accounts (agents) are unable to set their own milestones and share these with their team lead account. Please reach out to your team lead or support@dailyai.io if you have any questions.

Tip: Milestones can also be called statuses — the two are interchangeable.


Prospect Milestones 

Prospect milestones are for contacts (otherwise known as leads) that aren’t in your LOS yet. These milestones typically contain statuses related to contacting and converting the lead, such as “Initial follow up” or “Called left VM”.

Tip: We recommend using a combination of actions within a single step to get the most out of your milestone.This could include: sending a text to a realtor checking in on the progress or a reminder email to a contact to submit a specific form.

Combining prospect milestones with our Zapier integration and Drip Routing functionality is a powerful tool to scale your business. With automatic lead routing from different sources, leads will enter into designated drip campaigns and generate tasks for you or your team members to oversee lead activity.

How to create a prospect milestone:

  • Navigate to Settings -> Milestones.
  • Click “Edit Milestones” at the bottom of the page.
  • Click “Add Milestone.”
  • Enter in the name of a Milestone Status.
  • Select an action from the “Action” dropdown menu (these can be Drip Campaigns, Texts, Emails, Video Message, or Assigning a Task).
  • Select who you would like to perform the selection action on in the “Share With” dropdown menu.
  • If you’d like, click the plus (+) button to add multiple actions within a single Milestone Status.
  • Once you’re done adding all of the actions you’d like to take place during this Milestone Status, click “Save Milestones” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Tip: Prospect milestones will be used for all contacts as well as all transactions that a) don’t have a loan purpose or b) the loan purpose doesn’t match what is specified on the workflows on the in-process milestones. Please reach out to support@dailyai.io if you have any questions.


In-process Milestones 

You can use in-process milestones to scale interactions between your LOS and your borrowers that have started the underwriting process. Daily AI can send communications to anyone associated with a transaction, including title, buying or selling agents, buying coordinators, attorneys and builders, to name a few. You can send these communications on behalf of anyone on your team, including: loan officer assistants, loan processors or administrative assistants. 

How to create an in-process milestone:

  • Navigate to Settings -> Milestones -> In Process.
  • Click “Edit Milestones” at the bottom of the page.
  • Click “Add Milestone” button.
  • Enter in the name of a Milestone Status.
  • Select an action from the “Action” dropdown menu (these can be Drip Campaigns, Texts, Emails, Video Message, or Assigning a Task).
  • Select who you would like to perform the selection action on in the “Share With” dropdown menu.
  • Select who you would like to send the communication on behalf of from your team, including: Loan Officer Assistants, Loan Processor, Sales Manager, or the Business Development Manager.
  • If you’d like, click the plus (+) button to add multiple actions within a single Milestone Status.
  • Once you’re done adding all of the actions you’d like to take place during this Milestone Status, click “Save Milestones” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Congratulations! You will now be able to assign contacts to the Milestone you set up and the selected actions will occur automatically when the contact is assigned.

Tip: Map your milestone names exactly as their appear in your LOS — otherwise we will not sync and send out communications
